Meet Isaac and Paige Watson, dedicated staff members serving in Kensington who are passionately committed to servant leadership and community restoration. They currently lead various outreach efforts, including youth programs and a new residency gap year program called Converge.
The Watsons are also entering an exciting new season as they anxiously await the birth of their daughter, Sheridan Elizabeth, who is due in June! While they will be stepping back briefly this June to focus on their growing family, they remain steadfast in their mission to share Christ’s love in the neighborhood.

It has been a whirlwind season of travel and teaching as Cam hits the road to share the vision of the Converge Gap Year program. Throughout April, Dr. Cameron Garven has been crisscrossing the region—from student conferences in West Virginia to leadership meetings and church pulpits in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Whether he is challenging students at Living Hope Church to consider a year of intentional growth or teaching the Catalyst Leadership team that "Serving Changes Everything," the goal remains the same: inviting others into a life of purpose, initiative, and kingdom influence. We are thrilled to see how doors are opening.
Looking ahead, the momentum continues into May and June with a heavy focus on leadership development and spiritual formation. Cam will be heading to the Poconos for the Chelten Baptist Church Men’s Retreat to discuss engaging the culture, followed by appearances on Lighthouse TV and ongoing teaching sessions on "People and Purpose." As he prepares to wrap up this stretch with a sermon at Living Hope Langhorne in late July, we ask for your prayers. Please pray for travel mercies, sustained energy, and that the seeds planted during these speaking engagements would take deep root in the hearts of those who hear him. We are expectant for all God will do through these connections!
We are thrilled to honor Tommy Kelly as our Volunteer of the Month for April! Tommy has been a dedicated pillar of the Productive Lives team for quite some time, consistently showing up with a heart ready to serve the Kensington community. Driven by the message of Matthew 25 and the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, Tommy views his service not as a chore, but as a calling. Whether he’s offering a helping hand or a kind word, his presence reminds us all that true wealth isn’t found in possessions, but in the gratitude we feel for the simple blessings God provides—like our health, our families, and a roof over our heads.
One moment that stands out to Tommy involved a small act of kindness with a massive impact: providing paintbrushes to a man experiencing homelessness. Seeing the man’s extreme gratitude for such a "minuscule" gift reinforced Tommy’s perspective on what it means to truly see and value our neighbors.
To anyone feeling nervous about stepping into Kensington for the first time, Tommy offers a powerful bit of encouragement: "Go serve Him; God will protect you." When he isn't out making a difference in the streets, you can find Tommy at home enjoying his new charcoal grill—a well-deserved way to relax after his hard work! We are so grateful to have Tommy on the team and hope his story inspires others to jump in and serve alongside us.
