As we step into 2026, we’re looking at the streets of Philadelphia with fresh eyes. At Productive Lives, our mission has always been simple: people serving people. This year, we aren’t just continuing that mission; we’re passing the torch.
We are thrilled to officially launch the
Converge Gap Year Program
Convergeis our residential Christian gap year hosted by Productive Lives in Philadelphia, PA designed to equip, educate, and empower the next generation before they choose a major or career.
During the program, students will be immersed in a rhythm of service, learning, and spiritual formation, all while earning 30 fully accredited college credits.
This is not a gap year spent on the sidelines. Converge students will be showing up—building relationships, learning to lead with humility, and discovering what it looks like to live a life of service shaped by faith.

Winter is upon us in downtown Philadelphia. We had volunteers and staff clearing the pathways for groups to come in and allow for street ministry to continue.
God's beauty is seen in all seasons, and we are grateful we live in an area that experiences them all... even the cold!
Prayer Requests
1. Converge Gap Year Pray that God would lead the right young adults to Converge— students seeking growth, service, and faith-centered leadership—and give them clarity and courage as they discern next steps.
2. Groups Visiting This Year Pray for the youth, college, and adult groups serving with us this year, that their time in Kensington would be meaningful, relational, and impactful for both the community and each participant.
3. Momentum Campaign Pray for provision and vision-alignment through the Momentum Campaign, that it would strengthen partnerships and provide the support needed to expand our ministry.
