Fammily Fun Day

11

We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming Philly Family Fun Day!

June 7th

3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Frances E. Willard School

1930 E Elkhart St, Philadelphia, PA 19134

It’s going to be a fantastic day packed with carnival games, face painting, food, water ice, and more that kids and adults will love!

The purpose of this event goes beyond celebrating with families, but allows us to show the love of God on the community and continue to build relationships.

We are also looking for volunteers to join our set up and tear down teams to help make the day a massive success. Whether you are coming to play, volunteer, or just connect with neighbors, we can’t wait to see you there! To get all the details, contact us, or sign up to lend a hand, head over to productivelives.org/philly-family-fun-day today.

Navajo Trip

For over 25 years, Hidden Springs Bible Church has been standing in the gap for a Navajo community where modern comforts like running water and electricity are scarce, but the need for hope is abundant. Today, Productive Lives is partnering with this foundational work to deepen our impact through high-energy youth outreach, VBS programs, and building genuine, door-to-door relationships.

A team of volunteers are heading to the "Rez" on July 1-12.

We cannot do this work alone, and we invite you to be a vital part of this mission. Here are three ways you can partner with us today:

    • Pray: Join us in praying for the Navajo community, the local trust established by Pastor Billy and Grace Manning, and the safety and hearts of our visiting teams.

    • Donate: Financial resources directly fuel our resource-driven mission to ensure this vital ministry continues to flourish. Support the mission financially here
    • Share: Help us spread the word! Share this opportunity with your friends, family, and community to advocate for the next generation on "The Rez."

Thank you for standing with us and investing in lives transformed!

We are excited to partner with Reach Sports to host a three-day Basketball Camp for children in our community, and we need your help to make it a success!

Whether you have a child who wants to hit the court, a heart to volunteer, or a commitment to cover this event in prayer, there is a place for you to get involved.

Camp Details:

  • Who: Boys and girls aged 6 to 12 years old
  • When: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday | June 22–24
  • Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM daily
  • Where: Willard Elementary School

How You Can Support Us:

  • Spread the Word: If you have children, grandchildren, or neighbors between the ages of 6 and 12, invite them to join us for three days of fun, skill-building, and fellowship.
  • Volunteer Your Time: We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with check-ins, water stations, and assisting coaches on the court. No pro-basketball experience required—just a willing heart!
  • Partner in Prayer: Please join us in praying for this camp. We are asking for safety for all the participants, energy for the coaches, and that this would be a deeply impactful week where kids experience the love of Christ.

Philly House, a homeless outreach mission, shared some resources to help better love our neighbors in Philadelphia.

The Art of Neighboring: Building Genuine Relationships Right Outside Your Door By Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon

The Art of Neighboring encourages families to build meaningful relationships with the people living right next door. It offers simple, practical steps to love your actual neighbors the way Jesus teaches—bringing community, connection, and care to everyday life.

A Theology as Big as the City By Ray Bakke

Theology as Big as the City shows how God’s truth speaks to every part of urban life, from neighborhoods to city systems. It encourages families to see cities as places where faith can grow, serve, and bring real change through God’s presence and purpose.

When Helping Hurts By Steve Corbette and Brian Fikkert

When Helping Hurts explores how well meaning efforts to help those in poverty can sometimes cause unintended harm. It invites families to serve with wisdom and compassion, offering practical ways to make a lasting, respectful impact.
